GBA’s Green Button Directory Services℠ Now Available
The number of utilities and third-party apps/services providers now providing Green Button data-enabled solutions is continuously growing, while utility customers large and small continue to require easy, secure, digital access to their utility data to help them analyze and meet their energy-management or clean-energy needs. To assist utilities, third-party solutions providers, and utility customers in easily locating solutions that utilize Green Button standardized utility data, the Green Button Alliance’s Green Button Directory Services℠ (GBDS) are now available to the public as a free resource.
The Green Button Directory℠ is a comprehensive, searchable listing of all utilities, community choice aggregators (CCAs), municipalities, & co-ops; third-party apps & services providers; and utility-platform providers that offer platforms or solutions that leverage the industry’s secure Green Button Energy and Water Data-Access and -Sharing standard. The Directory enables utilities, third-party apps/solutions providers, and utility customers to easily identify solutions that utilize Green Button standardized utility data, while helping to increase awareness and deployment of new energy-management and clean-energy solutions.

Green Button Directory Services (GBDS):
- The Green Button Directory is a free resource, maintained by the GBA, that includes a continuously updated listing of Green Button implementations and Green Button Certified℠ solutions.
- Utilities can easily locate a variety of third-party energy-management and clean-energy solutions for onboarding with their Green Button Connect My Data® (CMD) platforms.
- Third-Party Solution Providers can find utilities, CCAs, municipalities, and co-ops that provide secure, standards-based Green Button electricity-, natural gas-, and water-usage data to their customers and their customers’ authorized solution providers.
- Customers, including Residential, Commercial, and Industrial customers, can easily determine if their local utilities offer standardized Green Button usage and billing data, access direct links to those utility pages, and find Green Button solution-enabled apps and services that work with their local utilities.
- Utility-Platform Providers: Utilities interested in providing Green Button Connect My Data or Download My Data® solutions can easily research solutions in the Directory’s Platform Providers listing.
The new Green Button Directory is maintained by the GBA and updated daily as utility and third-party company-listing approvals are received.
