About ACEEE’s 2024 Energy Efficiency Policy Forum:
ACEEE’s 2024 Energy Efficiency Policy Forum will bring together a diverse group of speakers from across government, industry, and advocacy groups to discuss opportunities and challenges for energy efficiency policy at the dawn of a new presidential term and the 119th Congress.
The Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law have started to put the largest federal investments in energy efficiency in U.S. history to work. The Energy Efficiency Policy Forum will look at successes and challenges in the roll-out of these funds and at lessons about how to improve these programs.
The 2024 Energy Efficiency Policy Forum will gather stakeholders from the federal government, states, industry, the environmental movement, and affected communities to share lessons learned from the past few years, and how we can bring even greater benefits of energy efficiency to the American people.
ACEEE tentatively plans two keynote speakers and three sessions focused on:
- Buildings – combining efficiency and electrification in existing buildings,
- Industry – spurring transformation to decarbonize key industries, &
- Transportation – the role of electric vehicles in efficient transportation systems,
The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a nonprofit research organization, develops transformative policies to reduce energy waste and combat climate change. With our independent analysis, we aim to build a vibrant and equitable economy – one that uses energy more productively, reduces costs, protects the environment, and promotes the health, safety, and well-being of everyone.
