Event Details
The Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative’s 2025 Consumer Symposium is a one-day forum on energy consumers that will be hosted as a DISTRIBUTECH partner event on Monday, March 24 in Dallas.
The theme for the event is Shaping the Future: Consumers and the Energy Movement, and SECC has developed an exciting one-day program that includes a more diverse set of sessions than ever before.
The day will begin with hearing insights from SECC's "2025 State of the Consumer" and "Modern Energy Messaging: Transactions to Relationships" reports, followed by a keynote address from a to-be-named utility executive.
Next, SECC will present the 2025 Best Practices Awards to six electricity providers and learn about the winning programs and strategies. After lunch, the Green Button Alliance (GBA) will host a 30-minute fireside chat on empowering consumers with energy usage data.
Following will be a session on the highlights of SECC's recent Smart Energy Snapshot Surveys, including AI and Spanish-speaking households, and the Electric Vehicles: Navigating the Road Ahead panel.
After the afternoon networking break, SECC will host three, back-to-back sessions – a conversation on energy equity with the winner of the 2025 Energy Equity Award, a case study session on a small business program and, finally, the Shaping the Future: Consumers and the Energy Movement panel.
