Professional Bio
Bill serves as the managing director of Business Analytics & Energy Supply and direct the analysis of various public policies and U.S. electric-industry initiatives.
Bill is also responsible for EEI’s recurring, industry operational reports and leads several industry working groups, including EEI’s Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Committees and Operating Company Leadership Working Group. He also help to lead the teams addressing two of the industry’s top priorities: Resource Adequacy and Wildfires.
Bill is passionate about problem solving, especially problems of a technical nature. He has a diverse technical background, including coding in over a dozen computer-programming languages; database-management systems, and leading the development of the financial-planning and -reporting platform for several years for one of the largest U.S. electric utilities.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Georgia State University. He also has an Information Technology Project Management – Professional Education Certificate from Georgia Institute of Technology, went through the Information Technology Leadership Development Program at Southern Company, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation from the Project Management Institute.
